What starts off as a discussion into when String Theory "jumped the shark" then breaks off into an array of topics including a far better answer to the cause of our big bang and even the nature of quantum weirdness. String theory should have stopped with the math of the standard model of particle physics and not tried to "loop" in gravity. But math is not reality.

Everything that we can see or feel or measure can be described with math but not everything that math can describe is necessarily going to exist in reality. Things like wormholes, whiteholes, loop quantum gravity (or any quantum gravity) , and singularities may only exist on paper and in formula and never actually manifest in the realm of the physical.

String theory has some odd ideas about what dimensions are and lots of people use the word wrong all the time. Once you understand the true nature of dimensions you can begin to see that the conformal cycle happens much differently than Penrose first represented. I say time is the first dimension followed by 3 spatial dimensions and to truly exist, every 4D object must intersect with the plane of massenergy to become a 6D object.

It is my proposition that you can not prove the Universe (the one with a capital U) is finite. No experiment could ever be done to unequivocally prove the Universe is finite. But multiple pieces of observational evidence can help point to the fact that our visible universe (the one with the lower case u) is not The Universe ! And there are specific observations I feel that can prove beyond a doubt that our Universe must be infinite and eternal. Proof that all we can ever see is nothing but a point in time and point in space because the true natural state of nature is that there is an infinite number of separate points in spacetime and every one of those points is relative to some finite number of other points in spacetime. What is happening at each point , be it mass , or energy, or motion , or force, or heat, or light , or sound, still boils down to relative waves of energy.

We pretend we don't know what is inside the event horizon of a black hole when all the physics really only points to one specific likely possibility. One thing we can most definitely rule out is any type of singularity, they exist on paper and in formula only and do not in fact exist in the physical realm.

So if there was ever going to be an actual TOE, theory of everything what would it really need to include?

By its definition it would need to explain what single force is the driving force behind all other forces as well as I think the single building block of everything that is, was, or will ever be.

It would need to explain wave particle duality, the collapsing wave function, superposition, quantum tunneling, and if possible, maybe even "spooky action at a distance" but I will admit, at face value that last one could be tricky.

It would need to explain the catalyst that caused the chain of cosmic events we have labeled our Big Bang, it would need to explain what came before it, and what will eventually become of our universe. It would have to provide a clear picture of the true nature of not only time and space but also mass and energy. It would need to be able to explain how mass and energy can bend and warp both space and time.

I also think it would need to explain both dark matter and dark energy and thus fill in the gaps in our true understanding of gravity and why the rate that our visible universe is expanding appears to be increasing. It should be able to provide a likely reason why gravity can warp both space and time and how gravity works at both the micro and macro scales.

It should be able to explain how life first forms on dead wet rocks and how the potential course of human evolution should be expected to proceed. In doing so if it can better explain how and why humans evolved into the dominant species on our planet then all the better.

Well I believe I have come across such a theory.

There is no crisis in cosmology because the one we see now is self imposed and self created. We created it by adding assumptions on top of assumptions instead of working with a logical premise. We assumed a period of inflation that did not happen and we assume that vacuum energy causes the expansion of the universe and assume something called dark energy exists. Instead what we have is the effect of what we see and call dark energy , the Hubble constant , the Hubble flow, and the expansion of the universe all caused by a very simple and well understood theory in physics but completely overlooked because nobody wants to stand up and shout THE EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES ! Well the time has come to declare the Lambda-CDM model dead because a new theory in town explains away all the mysteries surrounding all the assumptions we made, band-aid after band-aid to come up with an idea of a hot dense quantum fluctuating space time of cold dark matter creating all we can see from within the original size of a golf ball.

#successivecollisiontheory offers a far better understanding of what came before the big bang and what caused the big bang and when we begin to unravel the true nature of space and time we see a clear reason why we would predict a variable rate of expansion that will be shown to increase exponentially over time. We already see the first truth that the rate of expansion varies across our visible universe and we will soon see that rate is in fact increasing exponentially in those areas inside our visible universe where our internal overlapping gravity wells are fighting a loosing battle.

When we examine all the overlapping gravity wells of localized pockets of spacetime we see a tensor mesh of gravitational attraction form and that mesh is what fights off its parent frame of reference's tensor mesh. The endless battle between a succession of gravitational tensor meshes of successive parent frames of reference in constant battle with our own is why we predict a variable Hubble constant that will increase exponentially over time. This will someday be proven beyond a doubt and further validate #thenaturalstateofnature and #successivecollisiontheory .

No orbit contains infinite energy and all orbits eventually decay. Some inwards but eventually outwards. We see our moon slowly move away from our planet and our planet and all the planets slowly moving away from our home star. Our home star, Sol, slowing moving away like most other stars in our galaxy from Sagittarius A*. Sagittarius A* slowly ( or not so slowly) moving away from the center of its orbit, The Great Attractor. And The Great Attractor slowly moving away from the center of its orbit, The Sloane Attractor. A nested succession of parent frames of reference where every parent frame of reference feeds all its children with a base perception of both space and time.
