Welcome to Come To The Brink. I’m Zoë Flowers.
Today, we’re holding a sacred conversation about healing from trauma through nature, plant medicine, and the courage of rebuilding a life after unimaginable tragedy. I’m joined by the compassionate and courageous Kristen Renaud, a survivor of a mass shooting in 2021, whose profound journey led her away from her life as a lawyer into a deep relationship with plants, gardening, and the earth itself.
Kristen now runs Lightning Struck Gardens, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of gun violence through healing gardens, plant medicine, and community care.
