Oklahoma Duck Hunting - Part 2

  • Summary

  • Oklahoma duck season is in full gear and we answer many questions on this episode. Welcome back to Part 2 of our series on duck hunting in Oklahoma.  We spoke with certified duck-aholic, Erik Boykin who is a waterfowler who lives near Columbia, South Carolina. If you looked up duck-aholic in the dictionary you would probably find a picture of him sitting next to Phil Robertson. He lives & breathes duck hunting and spends the majority of late fall and winter traveling across the United States in search of the elusive green head. You can certainly tell he has a passion for ducks.

We were also fortunate enough to catch up with James Morel the Oklahoma Wetland & Migratory Bird Biologist for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. James came to us with a plethora of waterfowl information and was able to shed some light on all of Erik’s questions. We learned a lot from James and we are sure you will too!
