 O prefeito de Belo Horizonte, Álvaro Damião, do União Brasil, anunciou que o projeto original das obras de intervenção viária da região do Belvedere vai prosseguir. A população é contrária às obras por conta da previsão de supressão de 200 árvores. A PBH disse que realizou estudos para uma alternativa, mas que qualquer tipo de alteração mostrou-se tecnicamente inviável. Cláudia Pires comenta o assunto na coluna.
