More than anything else, it reveals the true inward state of our souls. And it sends Christ a multi-layered message: we believe Him; we have submitted to His Lordship; we fear (stand in awe of) Him; and we love Him. Additionally, not our religious talk but our actual walk – our real life-actions – are being placed on the scales of God’s eternal judgment daily and will one day determine our eternal rewards, or loss of rewards, at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
