About this listen
Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system. He is widely credited with having invented some of the first alternating current generators, motors, and power transmission systems. He is also credited with introducing the concept of distributed generation, which allowed electricity to be produced in many different places and then sent over long distances through a network of electrical wires.
