Welcome to the first episode of Nerding For Beginners!  This podcast started as an excuse for Mike and Dave to get into a Dungeons and Dragons campaign with their friends Glen, Brandon, Brandie, and Zack, but will be more than that.  Why? As anyone who has tried to get a regular game know, not everyone is available all the time.  When that happens they'll play other games (tabletop, card, or video), discuss other games, their fandoms, and/or movie and tv shows.  Think of this as hanging out with a new group of nerdy friends.

ON THIS EPISODE: We recap what happened the first time we got together and played (and forgot to record), introduce ourselves and our characters and the weird island our characters are on, and we get ourselves a new pet!

Welcome back to our Dungeons & Dragons campaign!  The party finally makes it to the city at the heart of the island of Urius, only to find it populated by a race of hyper-intelligent bugbears.  After getting into the city, the party splits up: Leroy Boltface does his best to sell Leroy Lizardface, while Karll and Eldon try and buy a map.  And naturally, they all wind up at a bar.

Throw your gnomish friend on your back, grab your favorite dice, and join us as we actually go on a quest!  Turns out the bartender is the quest giver, so we talk to him and get something that seems pretty straight forward: go to a cave just outside of town and grab a book.  How hard could it be??

Turns out that quest wasn't so hard, but who saw a giant black knight coming???  WE SURE DIDN'T.  The party makes the bold decision to send ol Uncle Rebis up the mountain to grab some back up.  Will he return in time?  Crank up the DMX, and get ready to mess some undead horrors up!
