About this listen
The concept of “national divorce” had been simmering in the background of the culture for some time, and while not feasible to implement, has reached the mainstream recently. The notion of national divorce is that, as the federal government has become more all-consuming in our lives (despite the 10th Amendment), conservative and liberal states should peacefully decide that we can no longer survive as one country and divide off into two separate sovereign nations.
While impractical, recent events have led me to believe that we are already divorced and simply have yet to acknowledge it.
