Vyshyvanka Day is celebrated each year on the third Thursday of May in Ukraine and internationally, showcasing Ukraine’s unique cultural heritage through the distinctive patterns of an embroidered shirt. The Ann Arbor branch of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America (UNWLA), is hosting a celebration that includes a fundraiser for a Ukrainian volunteer organization of paramedics who save lives on the frontlines.
