Having reached a milestone, I thought I'd share my honest thoughts and reflections over my first full year as an adult piano learner... Then I perform one of my all-time favourite pieces from Ryuichi Sakamoto - 'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence' with some hilarious outtakes after. I sincerely hope you enjoy and please feel free share your thoughts.  

~  As an adult beginner I thought others may benefit from following my progress with the piano.   It has always been a lifelong ambition of mine to learn the piano and play publicly with confidence, joy and skill. I have been practicing now for exactly a year and I have learned so much that could help others who are also starting to learn this amazing instrument.  

Learning the piano can often be challenging and isolating, so my goal is to share my experiences with others and to help you not feel alone.
