About this listen

Here we go again on our own. Welcome to Season 2, Episode 9 of the Me and My Mixtape Podcast. We are the podcast that creates and curates weekly 10 track mixtapes, with a new subject or mixtape topic each episode. First bumps all round.

This week, the penultimate podcast of the season, sees the hosts Matt and Mark travel back in time to the year 2004, a year that was TWENTY ONE YEARS AGO! A fact that freaks Matt out in particular. The pair choose tracks from their fave albums from the year, taking y’all on a sonic journey that takes in alt rock, metal, groove indie dance, Emo classics and more. What a year, what a bloody great playlist (if we do say so ourselves). Magic.

As well as the podcast, each week the actual mixtape (via Spotify) will also be released and made live, with all links available vie the podcast linktree. Come back next Friday for the next podcast and mixtape. Tunes for days.

Please do enjoy this podcast, and if you have a spare moment, a like, subscribe maybe even a comment or rating would be incredibly brilliant. As a brand new podcast, all of this ‘stuff’ is vital for us to keep going.
