About this listen

Take a deep dive into United Hatzalah's international response mission to the 2023 earthquake that struck western Morocco's Al Haouz Province near the High Atlas Mountains, causing significant damage and loss of life.

Co-hosts Dovie Maisel and Elad Bachar are joined by United Hatzalah's Linor Attias, Director of Communications, and Marissa Rosenfeld, Director of Digital Media. They discussed planning needs, choosing the right volunteers for the mission, groundwork, and prep, and coordination with the IDF and Moroccan military while on the ground. They also recount some of the struggles they encountered and a few of the incredible rescues and lives the mission saved.
