This is a body scan mindfulness meditation to help you relax and build your natural calm habit. It is intended to guide you through the meditation and equip you to use this form of meditation to help you sleep or to help you refocus on your day. You can lengthen your meditation by returning at the end to your feet and moving upwards through your body to your face and head. You can also make it a shorter meditation and just focus on exploring, with curiosity, your feet or other part of your body and then refocusing on your now and your day. Remember your mind will wander when meditating so when you notice just refocus back on your meditation, at the end of the practice say to yourself - 'This practice is good enough' because it is, mind wandering is normal and helps you build your awareness and shift your focus back to your meditation practice.
