    I’m thrilled to welcome our first-ever guest to The Poker Brain Podcast. Lara and I cover a lot of topics, but we mostly focus on the mindset best suited for the wild ups and downs of tournament play. A bit more information about Lara follows below. Hope you enjoy our chat as much as I did.

    Dr. Lara Eisenberg is a WSOP bracelet and WSOP circuit ring winner with over $850k in live tournament winnings. Initially an avid gamer, she got interested in poker during the Moneymaker boom. She credits her coach, Apestyles (Jon von Fleet) and BBZ poker for helping take her game to the level needed to win a bracelet. A prior competitive billiards player and skydiver, Lara holds 2 skydiving world records including the current 400-person world record in formation skydiving set in Thailand in 2006. Outside of poker strategy, she has a special interest in mindset and lifestyle optimization for success in poker and other endeavors.  She currently divides her time between poker and her medical career in radiology. Lara Eisenberg lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with her wife.
