  • Sky High
    Aug 25 2025

Hop on the bus; we’re headed to Sky High! Katelyn month continues as she and her Hero Support Wil discuss the 2005 superhero epic. If you thought their disagreement on F4 was intense, buckle up. Will they cement themselves as permanent enemies, or will the power of friendship allow them to overcome their differing opinions and Save The Citizen? At least they agree on the HELLO moment that is Warren Peace’s vest & red streak of hair & bun & towel over his shoulder & bilingualism & more probably.

The greatest hits and dumbest bits: Bob Dylan Movie Discourse 2.0, Our First Actual Fight (™), Mrs. Wimpy, proper name place name backstory stuff, Lovingly ham-fisted, Will Stronghold’s jail-worthy fortune cookie eating style, The comedic genius of Mr Medulla, Wil’s accidental foreshadowing to Katelyn’s next movie pick.

  • Almost Famous
    Aug 11 2025

It’s all happening! Katelyn uses her first of three birthday picks to force Wil to finally watch his life story: Almost Famous (2000). No, seriously, Wil is literally William Miller. Don’t talk about it for too long or else Katelyn will get all weepy. The two of them discuss what it really means to be “cool”, and what makes Almost Famous the best movie ever. You’re gonna have to reel them in.

The greatest hits and dumbest bits: Lewis Pullman Zola Audition, Katelyn gets legit emotional about Little Wil, Katelyn is Jay Baruchel, Wil’s “The Morning Show” Corner, Jimmy Fallon Discourse, Wil Pulls a Katelyn, Macrudgeony, Katelyn “Frances McDormand” Weber

  • The Fantastic Four: First Steps
    Jul 28 2025

A nearly FOUR hour episode? How fitting! Katelyn eats her words and does the one thing she swore she’d never do: see The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Wil and Katelyn definitively answer the question of whether or not these are “their guys”, whether or not Wil’s impression of Ben Grimm is good (or even accurate), and whether or not JQuinn is hot in this movie. But when faced with deciding what the exact correct opinion of this movie is, they butt heads so catastrophically that it nearly ends the podcast. Luckily, their friend Pete from First Look, Final Word mediates, and maybe—just maybe—keeps them from killing each other on mic.

The greatest hits and dumbest bits: The return of PreQUIPtions, Wil’s fake Fantastic Four themed food menu, Katelyn’s Alamo curse, Wil’s Avatar Minute, The great JQuinn debate, CHICAGOOOOOOOOOO, Pete cracks the whole thing wide open, Miserable Marathon Round 2

Thanks to Pete from First Look, Final Word for joining us. You can find their episode on the new Fantastic Four on Apple or Spotify.

  • Fantastic Four (2005)
    Jul 21 2025

Flame on! Wil and Katelyn launch headfirst into the second half of Super Fantastic July with 2005’s Fantastic Four. Join them on the journey through this unfortunately forgettable plot, the goofy characters, and the Chris Evans of it all. In true MM fashion, they focus only on the important details: how much a digital camera cost in 2005, whether or not a bar is playing a physical record in 2005, and what Sue’s character literally even is.

The greatest hits and dumbest bits: Pac-Man World 2: A New Musical, Directed by Toy Story, Austin Mahone as Dr. Doom, AVAB (assigned villain at birth), Wil’s completely hypothetical fanfic, the real practical wine bottle effect, FREAK!!!, a second honest try at a JLD impression, The Heal Squad

  • Superman: The Movie (1978)
    Jul 7 2025

It’s a bird! It’s a Blague! No, it’s Superman: The Movie (1978)! Wil exposes Katelyn’s insane DC movie history to the masses, and catalogues the comically villainous producers and overall behind-the-scenes drama of this iconic blockbuster. Wil and Lois Lane both fangirl over Superman, and Katelyn inundates Wil with five hundred questions that he simply does not have answers to. You’ll believe a man can fly—and you’ll also believe a man can run five steps and die—on today’s ¿DC? Marathon.

The greatest hits and dumbest bits: Capri-Sun Max, The very last American adult to see The Dark Knight, John Williams stan twitter, The hula hoop of shame, Nekked Clark, The Tragedy Of Partha Kent, Lightsaber / Wikipedia Crystal, Superman is allergic to microplastics, Kryptonite D’Jewelry, Superman accidentally does Tenet

  • Marvelous Mailbag #2 (News Round-Up: DoomsDELAY, Thunderbolts box office)
    Jun 23 2025

Wil and Katelyn reach back into the Marvelous Mailbag and answer more listener questions with thoughtful analysis (see: the dumbest ideas you’ve ever heard). They eulogize MuppetVision3D, laud Trap (2024), and apologize to all of the gay nerds who “um, actually”d them. While discussing the way that their opinions on the MCU have changed over the years, movies that they feel spiritually connected to, why superhero movies are so popular, and if they will ever “do Star Wars”, Wil tries (semi-successfully) his absolute hardest not to let Katelyn talk exclusively about Thunderbolts* for the third episode in a row. They also dole out free filmmaking advice to Kevin Feige and the Russo Brothers while keeping a very cool head and definitely not getting embarrassingly angry while recording.

The greatest hits and dumbest bits: The best improv scene ever, Chicken eating the egg, Which host is statistically the biggest Timothee Chalamet fan, Katelyn is boycotting Fantastic Four, The podcast is over, “We hate Marvel”, Armchair quarterback Monday morning, Upsetting Marathon

They also discuss their most beloved albums of the year so far: Djo’s “The Crux” and Lady Gaga’s “Mayhem”.
