Kathryn is a Forest Recreation Specialist with the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation (FPR) focusing on the northwest portion of the state; Duncan is the Natural Areas Stewardship Coordinator for the Intervale Center in Burlington, Vermont; and Leila is the Parks Supervisor for the Montpelier Parks and Trees Department. We discuss the role of volunteer projects in educating the public about riparian areas, challenges and mishaps in management of recreational riparian areas, and more!
