Der österreichische Komponist lebt bereits seit einigen Jahren in der Emigration in den USA – wie wenig später auch sein Landsmann Erich Wolfgang Korngold. Die drei Komponisten stehen außerdem für völlig verschiedene Stile, die im 20. Jhd nebeneinander existieren: Atonalität, Jazz und Filmmusik.
Die vierte Staffel von "Warum Klassik?" lief im Herbst 2023 in der Ö1 Reihe "Des Cis" und ist Teil des zeit- und kulturgeschichtlichen Archivs auf oe1.ORF.at.
