Liv Duvå har netop vundet Politikens litteraturpris for romanen “Ned fra himlen” og siger i dette interview, at hun havde præstationsangst omkring at kaste sig ud i at skrive om det sted, hvor hun selv voksede op.
Romanen beskriver, hvordan den purunge Maria impulsivt forlader sin datters far. Som en sidste udvej slår hun sig midlertidigt ned med sin lille datter hos mosteren, der driver en dyregård i Brøndby Strand. Tæt på, i et af de forurenede højhuse på 16 etager, bor også Marias alkoholiserede mor, som Maria ikke har haft kontakt til længe. Men måske er tiden inde til forsoning.
