Die Scheunen mögen voll sein, aber die Herzen sind leer. Und die Gedanken an einen Gott nehmen dahingehend ab, je mehr ich selber machen und wirken will. Vielleicht will uns das Evangelium heute auf diese Weise wieder ein wenig wach rütteln. Unser Leben ist nicht das, was wir haben und anhäufen, sondern das was wir sind. Und was wir sind, verdanken wir nicht uns,sondern einem anderen. Er füllt uns nicht die Scheunen. Dazu haben wir auf Erden selbst genug Gelegenheit. Er füllt uns unsere Herzen. Und er gibt uns die Gewissheit: „Ich bin gekommen, damit sie das Leben haben. Und es in Fülle haben.“
