L'archéologue Aline Tenu (CNRS) nous emmène à la découverte de Nimrud, l'ancienne Kalhu, capitale de l’empire néo-assyrien (IX-VIIIe siècles avant J.-C.). Grand centre savant, elle abritait l'Ezida, un temple consacré au dieu des scribes Nabû et à sa parèdre Tashmetu, où une riche bibliothèque a été retrouvée.
