La catastrofe si avvicina: il fotografo Gianni ridicolizza e umilia Emmanuel, in un improponibile confronto con il magnifico e selvaggio Aaron. Il ragazzo sopporta, sia per amore di Gianni, sia perché ha bisogno di soldi, e cerca di vedere il lato positivo della situazione: per esempio un ottimo pranzo in una trattoria e la semplice spontaneità di Aaron, che lo prende in simpatia.

Alla fine, però, le parole di Gianni sono talmente offensive da scatenare in Emmanuel una tragica ribellione.

The catastrophe is approaching: the photographer Gianni ridicules and humiliates Emmanuel, in an unthinkable comparison with the magnificent and wild Aaron. The boy endures, both for love of Gianni and because he needs money, and tries to see the positive side of the situation: for example, an excellent lunch in a tavern and the simple spontaneity of Aaron, who has sympathy for him.

In the end, however, Gianni's words are so offensive that they unleash a tragic rebellion in Emmanuel.

The photographer's behavior in this part of the episode is provocative and almost comical, but the second part will take on dramatic tones: for Emmanuel in fact it will be a very hard blow.

For now we see Gianni introduce him to an aspiring model of Canadian origins, a beautiful half-breed named Aaron.

Emmanuel, very struck by the charm of his "colleague", agrees to take pictures with him at Gianni's request, but he already realizes that something is wrong.

La notte che Emmanuel e Gianni trascorrono nello stesso letto prosegue con sviluppi imprevedibili, che vedono fra l'altro Gianni fare al ragazzo alcune confidenze riservate. However, the boy, inebriated by the environment and the novelty of that situation, cannot resist the temptation to go down the ski slopes with Gianni, and when the two return to the base it is already too late to return to their respective homes.

There is nothing left to do but spend the night in a refuge, at the Chalet La Marmotte. But there is only one room left, and we know that Gianni has a weakness for Emmanuel...
