Das schottische Festival Radiophrenia ist eine Radiostation auf Zeit - eine zweiwöchige Erkundung aktueller Trends in der Radiokunst und der Sound Art. Ö1 Kunst zum Hören ist mit Koproduktionen beteiligt. ++ “I am building a house so you can visit me” – aus Klang baut Yara Asmar ein Haus, wo zwei Freunde sich treffen können, ein immaterieller Zufluchtsort, der im Radioraum verortet ist. ++ Kurz vor dem Covid-Ausbruch reiste die US-amerikanische Musikerin und Komponist Matana Roberts mit einem Frachtschiff von Großbritannien nach Nordamerika. Sie machte Feldaufnahmen und führte ein Soundtagebuch – aus diesem Material collagierte sie das Radiostück „Chasing Hopes on the Star Atlantic“. Eine ORF-EIgenproduktion, Sendung vom 24.04.2025
