In this episode, our guest is Oscar Newson-Smith, who walked from England to Turkey to help earthquake victims in Hatay. I will be handing the microphone over to Oscar’s friend from Hatay, İbrahim Gül. They will be speaking to you in English. We asked Oscar why he set out on this walk, the difficulties he encountered along the way, the feelings that motivated him, and the project that was the focus of his walk. We talked about more than just a road story; we talked about solidarity, the limits of humanity, and how far kindness can go.
