About this listen
Now, this outing was more than just a Sunday drive. It’s the family’s first public sighting together since Trooping the Colour back in June. And let’s be honest, the royal-watcher within me was absolutely delighted to see them, especially knowing the immense challenges Kate has faced this past year. You’ll recall it was only in March when she bravely shared news of her cancer diagnosis—remaining delightfully dignified, as ever, and keeping the details close to the palace vest. Thankfully, she announced in January that the cancer is in remission. I must say, her resilience is just as striking as that new hairdo.
But change is clearly in the air! After this sunlit summer holiday, Kate, William, and the children are preparing for a rather grand move. The Wales family are set to relocate from their snug four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage to Forest Lodge—a sprawling, eight-bedroom abode on the illustrious Windsor Castle estate. Just imagine the children frolicking across endless lawns and Kate greeting the morning mist with yet another enviable ensemble!
Speaking of which, lovers of royal fashion, take note: Kate’s been spotted championing tomato red for ages—it’s the “now” colour of the season, don’t you know. Butter yellow is so last year. Leave it to Catherine to set trends while juggling royal duties and motherhood.
So there you have it: Kate Middleton, with her newly gilded locks, her family in tow, her triumphant battle with cancer, and a shiny new home on the horizon. If that’s not the beating heart of modern royal glamour, what is? Lady Jane will certainly keep both eyes firmly on Windsor this autumn.
