Originally from Butlerville, Newfoundland and Labrador, Jacob auditioned for CGT and delivered a powerful take on Bon Jovi’s “Bed of Roses.” The performance received a standing ovation from all four judges, Shania Twain’s Golden Buzzer, and 25,000 Canadian dollars from CIBC.
