We discuss the essence of Nonviolent Communication approach, the role of empathy in conversations, and how recognising emotions in the body can help us communicate with more awareness and authenticity.

Ivana also talks about the connection between Somatic Experiencing practice and Nonviolent Communication, and shares her insights on the role of conflict in relationships.


Ivana Horáková offers regular multi-month NVC mediation trainings in Czechia and Slovakia. For the last 10+ years, her aim has been to support compassion, resilience, learning, body awareness and life-serving communication. She works with individuals and couples.

Ivana's goal is to support those who find themselves in the position of the third side, and to offer skills and inspiration for her clients, the participants of her courses and anyone who wants to contribute to peace, relational mindfulness and resilience.
