Toady, we look back at where prayer and praise show up in Luke 19–24. In particular, we focus on the events of Holy Week, pausing at Jesus' Triumphal Entry and His Crucifixion. Then we glance ahead at our next read-through of Luke's Gospel where we'll turn our attention to the Holy Spirit, especially in Luke 1–6.

Join us as we read through the Gospel according to Luke this year!

Today, we spend a considerable amount of time looking back over Luke 7–12. We hear about many coming to Jesus with their needs (as we also do in prayer), about Jesus praying, thanking God, and glorifying Him, and Jesus teaching us both how and what to pray. Then, we look ahead at Luke 13–18 where we'll again see a few places where Jesus and His Father are on the receiving end of prayer and praise.
