About this listen

Hello Salty people and those who are or may want to visit this magical Island, my name is Spence Pentland and I am the host of 'The Island Talks' podcast, all things Salt Spring Island (with a focus on wellness). I am a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a private practice on Salt Spring (drspencepentland.com)

SPECIAL NOTE: My apologies that my (Spence, host) volume is too high in relation to my wonderful guest. In keeping the mic closer to me in an attempt to keep Robin in flow and not distract her, I was louder than I should be and it is distracting at times. My curiosity and joy also made me a little too excited! Robin is amazing and I hope that came through, as truly all I wanted to do was learn more about what she has done and share it.

In this episode I sit down with Robin Jenkinson, someone I have personally witnessed, on a daily basis, contributing to this community. Supporting our kids and protecting the environment, Robin is responsible for the school gardens and nature programs, bike pathways, river restoration, and much more!
