    Robert Lilligren is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Native American Community Development Institute, a local Indian community based and led organization focusing on social, cultural and economic empowerment. Lilligren is the Chair of the Metropolitan Urban Indian Directors (MUID), which is a significant presence in the Twin Cities Native community representing the many organizations which address and serve that community. Robert is also a member representing Minneapolis on the "Metropolitan Council," a Twin Cities planning and community development agency in Minnesota. He is also a former Minneapolis City Council Member. Robert Lilligren over several decades has experience leading and meeting the challenges facing an urban environment and its communities, especially as it affects Native Americans.
