Gustav Goll, der im Italien der damaligen Zeit das Studium zur Modedesignerie wahrnahm, war unzufrieden mit der Anzahl der Glieder seines Modemodells, wie es ihm schon in die Wiege gelegt worden war. Als er ihr also das selbst gemalte und geschneiderte Kleid auf den Leib schneidern wollte, sollte die Anzahl der Glieder sich als Unanehmlichkeit für die Unbeschertheit des Modells und damit auch des Mordopfers ergeben.
