One of the greatest promises God gave to His people to give them hope is contained in the book of Daniel. The God of the Bible made a promise hundreds of years before Jesus’ earthly life about a kingdom. He promised an unshakeable kingdom in which His people, the righteous, would dwell. This kingdom would never be ruled by a man, turned over to another, and will endure forever.
Daniels interpretation of the king’s dream tells us precisely when that kingdom would be established. These powerful truths that renew our minds to live in the truth of our new life in Christ will take us to a deeper understanding of the love of God found in His Son. Our reality will be more in line with truth which will set us free.
There has been a place prepared for us and it is the kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of grace. Jesus is the kingdom, and He dwells in whosoever shall believe.
