About this listen

 At the age of 17 with just £25, and having designed a logo on a post-it note at my mums dining room table, I started my own business...with no idea what the journey ahead of me would be like. Over the past ten years I've juggled many 9-5 jobs all whilst trying to run a business as a side hustle with very little experience. Only 2 years ago did I decide to take my business seriously and wrap up all my full time jobs in pursuit of one thing...being a full-time business owner. My name is Phoebe, I'm a creative, a serial job-juggler and master multi-tasker and my podcast 'In Charge' was born out of wanting to keep things real about the highs, lows, and everything in between when it comes to building a business with no investment and just raw passion. This podcast is where I'll share what it’s really like to grow something you’re passionate about, with loads of laughs, a few tears and a hell of a lot of chaos all alongside my best friends and family. Many of my guests will include those closest to me as I've pretty much built a family run business from scratch (who knew ey?!) So join me and my guests for laid-back chats about surviving and thriving in one of the UK’s toughest but most rewarding industries. We met in 2020 when I was recruiting for administration support...and here we are 5 years later, not just working together, but also new found best mates...and the godmother to her children! We delve deep into some juicy stuff that's happened to us and our friendship over the years of working together and why we are such a fantastic team!!!
