About this listen

🌸 We all have a singular relationship with flowers. Each country magnifies this relationship in its own way. In Japan, ikebana is an ancestral floral art which approaches the living in all its grandeur by praising its irregularities. More than a visual concept, it is a philosophy of life in its own right. To tell us about it, Masami Charlotte went to meet Akiko Usami, a Japanese florist based in Paris and trained in ikebana by one of the most illustrious schools in the country.

🌺 "Flowers" is a KENZO Parfums podcast produced by Louie Creative, the content creation agency of Louie Media. Nolyne Cerda and Masami Charlotte Lavault hosted this episode. Eloïse Normand supervised the production. Karen Lohier directed and mixed it with music by Marine Quéméré.
