 Richard Neville, the 16th Earl of Warwick (1428-1471), was an influential and wealthy figure in Englands tumultuous history during the Wars of the Roses (1455-1487). A key player in opposing the ineffectual Lancastrian king, Henry VI, he initially allied with Richard, Duke of York. However, after a falling out with Yorks son, King Edward IV, Warwick switched allegiances to support the exiled queen, Margaret of Anjou.
