 8/17/2025: S5 E39, Episode 148, ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠July 2025 General Conference+.Clay and Mitch identified many invitations that members of the ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠First Presidency⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ and ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠Quorum of the Twelve Apostles⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ shared in settings other than General Conference (i.e., Church magazines, Church school devotionals, press releases, social media, temple dedicatory prayers, etc.) during July 2025. Here are a few of the invitations they discussed during this episode (yes, there are many more than this):1. [President Russell M. Nelson] "I invite you to take intentional steps to grow in your confidence before the Lord."2. [President Dallin H. Oaks] "The only permanent solution to the differences that divide us is for all of us to follow our Savior’s teachings and to gradually become even as He is. Following Christ is not a casual or occasional practice, but a continuous commitment and way of life."3. [President Henry B. Eyring] "When I seek guidance from the Lord, I often begin by asking in prayer, 'Heavenly Father, is this what the Lord would have me do?' And then, I will wait upon Him until I know. Then I might say, 'Please, while I am working at it, can I remember that I am doing it for the Lord?'"4. [President Jeffrey R. Holland] "In a world that so desperately needs all the light it can get, please do not minimize the eternal light God put in your soul before this world was."5. [Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf] "If you trust God and start to become the person God intended you to become, you will see God's hand in your lives."6. [Elder David A. Bednar] "Think of the day in which we live and the things we can participate in. The Lord is hastening His work and our job is to not get in the way and mess it up. We don't hasten the work, He does."7. [Elder Quentin L. Cook] "May each of us follow the Savior's mandate to share the gospel and rejoice together as our Father in Heaven's children choose to follow Jesus Christ."8. [Elder D. Todd Christofferson] "[R]ely on the mercy and merits of Jesus to attain the level of personal holiness needed for us to enter into the presence of the Father and enjoy eternal life."9. [Elder Neil L. Andersen] "Please join me, Young Men General President Steven J. Lund, and five young men on July 13, 2025, for a broadcast from Harmony, Pennsylvania, as we honor the sacred restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood."10. [Elder Ronald A. Rasband] "We have been given gifts and talents from God to accomplish this work, and I invite you to use them to give each endeavor your best effort."11. [Elder Gary E. Stevenson] "I invite you to partake of the fruits of the gospel and feel more joy in this life on your own journey toward eternal life."12. [Elder Dale G. Renlund] "The Lord can make the willing able, but He cannot or will not make the able willing. In other words, if we are committed and willing, He can use us."13. [Elder Gerrit W. Gong] "For children of God, platforms and technologies cannot substitute for authentic Divine connection and relationship."14. [Elder Ulisses Soares] "Keep the commandments and follow the guidance of the Lord as revealed through our living prophet."15.
