 The year is 1898; a young boy witnesses his fathers brutal murder at the hands of a woman shrouded in black lace and adorned with an ornate brooch. Decades later, the boy, now a man, is confronted with the haunting visage of his fathers killer in a portrait at his wifes inherited chateau. The portrait is of his wifes deceased mother, wearing the eerily familiar black lace and brooch. As he grapples with his love for his wife and the chilling revelation, he finds himself under attack from a figure bearing a striking resemblance to the woman from his past. Consumed by self-doubt and questions, he enlists as World War erupts. Amidst the chaos of the war, he finds the answers to the mysteries that have haunted him since his fathers murder.
