The SPA brings together over 300 scientists and knowledge holders to promote sustainable and equitable solutions. Through intergenerational dialogues, this podcast explores the personal stories, knowledge, and dreams of those working to conserve the Amazon.

In this episode, Pedro Neves de Castro, a young Brazilian economist and YAC member, talks with Carlos Nobre, a global reference in climate change studies and co-chair of the SPA. They discuss Carlos’s long career, how he came to dedicate his life to the Amazon, the history of the Panel, and how together we can build a sustainable future for the Amazon we want.
