About this listen

UANRADIO PRESENTS-Memoirs Of A Mangy Texan.

Join us for PG rated material that is family safe but still darker in tone to promote discussions after these stories are over.

They say everything’s bigger in Texas — including the fleas, the burritos, and the egos of stray cats.

But none of them hold a candle to me: Shep, a 14-year-old German Shepherd with a patchy coat, a sharper tongue than a rattlesnake, and zero patience for nonsense.

I wasn’t always a lone drifter sniffing my way through San Antonio’s back alleys and barbacoa stands. I had a home once.

A name etched on a shiny tag. A bed that didn’t smell like exhaust fumes. But life has a way of chewing you up and spitting you out — kind of like those tourists trying Tex-Mex for the first time.
Memoirs of a Mangy Texan is my unfiltered take on life on the streets, the characters I meet (human and otherwise), and the weird, wild beauty of the city that made me the old mutt I am today. It’s funny, a little scruffy, occasionally tragic — and it smells vaguely like brisket.

UANRADIO brings original works of Art for all audiences with PG rated material but there are dark tones and the hard lessons of life. Our goal is to entertain but also promote good family or friendly discussions prompted by our stories.

New episodes air the 2nd and last Sunday of the month at 5 PM CDT which is the UANRADIO Family day and hour so gather around and hear this entetaning but thought provoking story about one of our four legged friends.
