About this listen

Welcome to the Hurt to Healing podcast with me, Pandora Morris. I’ve been fighting an uphill battle with my mental health for years and it’s only now that I’ve started to see some glimmers of light. It’s almost unbelievable to think I am starting this podcast considering my incessant compulsions would normally try to talk me out of it. But here I am, continuing to fight my invisible bullies one day at a time.

As part of my own recovery, I’ve made it my mission to support as many of you as possible on your own healing journey. I’ll be speaking to wonderful people from all walks of life who will open up about their own invisible struggles in the hope that it will provide a bit of solace and comfort for some of you. I’ll also be speaking to leading experts and doctors about different disorders and therapies that might help each of you expand your knowledge on the world of mental health.

  • HEALING 101: Why Self-Acceptance Is the Real Coming Out with Rich Clarke
    Sep 4 2025

In today’s HEALING 101 episode, I speak with broadcaster and host of This Was Always Me, Rich Clarke and we get really honest about shame, identity, and what it’s like growing up feeling like you have to hide who you are.

Rich opens up about internalised homophobia, the impact of staying silent for years, and why “coming out” still feels like this weird performance — when really, it should just be… living.

It’s moving, it’s raw, and it’s also full of hope. If you’ve ever struggled to accept a part of yourself then this one’s for you.

  • Dr Judith Joseph on The Hidden Depression In High Achievers
    Sep 2 2025

What if the person who seems to have it all together is actually struggling in silence?

In this episode, I’m joined by the extraordinary Dr. Judith Joseph – psychiatrist, researcher, and author of High Functioning – to unpack a form of depression that so many people relate to but rarely talk about: high-functioning depression.

We dive into why it’s often missed, how it hides behind achievement, and what it really means to live without joy – even while ticking every box of a “successful” life.

Dr. Judith shares insights from her groundbreaking research and her own personal experience, with wisdom that’s as validating as it is actionable. We also explore the mind-body connection, the role of trauma, and the small but powerful “points of joy” we can reclaim in our everyday lives.

Whether you're running on empty or supporting someone who is, this conversation will help you feel seen – and maybe even a little more hopeful.

  • HEALING 101: Early Signs, Hidden Struggles & Hope in Eating Disorders with Dr Anna Colton
    Aug 28 2025

If you're a parent, a loved one, or just someone who’s struggled with food or body image – this episode is essential listening. I’m joined by the brilliant Dr. Anna Colton, clinical psychologist and eating disorder specialist, for a conversation that is raw, practical, and full of compassion. We explore the early warning signs of eating disorders, why binge eating is so misunderstood, and how things like orthorexia and ARFID can quietly take root – especially in a culture obsessed with control and “clean” eating.

Anna has this amazing way of cutting through shame and helping us see these behaviours for what they really are: ways of coping with deep pain. Whether you're navigating this yourself, or supporting someone you love, I hope this episode brings clarity, comfort, and a big exhale.
