About this listen

Rachel Mains talks with Curtis Barb, the author of Rebel Redeemed: The Tangled Tale of a Repeat Offender.

Curtis Barb was a born rebel. Ask his God-fearing, long-suffering single mother. He ditched school in the second grade, committed petty crimes just for the thrill of it, and was addicted to alcohol and weed at thirteen. "My moral compass was compromised, and I fed on anything outrageous and exhilarating," he said. After seventeen years of destroyed relationships, treatment programs, second-third-fourth chances, and incarceration, Curtis came to the end of himself and the redemption that was his only, final, forgiven way out to LIFE.
