About this listen
In this podcast, we will share our personal favourite seven strategies for offering consistent prayer. These strategies are for beginners, and after following these strategies, providing prayer on time will be your habit.
Prayer is not a job; it's a proud connection with Allah. So, let's explore some tips to help you build and sustain your prayer routine.
Tip 1: Establish a Routine
Start with manageable goals. Make a complete plan for your days and set a specific time for prayers, which will be five times a day. This will help you take a break from work and remain punctual. Treat your prayer time with the same commitment as other essential appointments.
Tip 2: Start Small
You can start with one prayer daily, like Fajar. When you develop a Fajr prayer routine, you will offer Dhuhr automatically. So, your daily prayer routine will start this way.
Tip 3: Create a Sacred Space
You should have a separate space for offering prayer where no one can disturb you. That place should be dedicated to prayers and decorated nicely.
Tip 4: Use Reminders
You can set reminders on your phone, and it will help you remain punctual. For that, you should know the exact prayer time. If you are living in Toronto and want to know the accurate prayer time , then you can visit online websites to check. This way, you will offer prayer on time.
Tip 5: Embrace Flexibility
Life is unpredictable, and there will be days when your prayer routine is disrupted. Don't criticize yourself for it. Instead, resume your practice as soon as possible, knowing that each moment of connection is valuable.
Tip 6: Find Community Support
Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who share your commitment to prayer. Encourage your friends to offer daily prayers.
Tip 7: Reflect and Adjust
Regularly evaluate your prayer routine and make adjustments as needed. This is necessary to remain on track.
