About this listen

May 18, 2025 ~ Crohn's and Colitis Foundation Executive Director Melissa Greer said the group is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Since 1967, the group has invested more than 500 million dollars into researching the chron's and colitis, which affect 100 thousand people in Michigan. The Michigan Anti-Defamation League was founded in 1913 in response to an escalating climate of antisemitism and bigotry, though it has fallen under heavy scrutiny in recent years due to its strong defense of the state of Israel during its military assault on the Palestinian territories. ADL Michigan Director Laura Rosenberg joins Michigan Voices to discuss how she views the ADL's role in today's political climate.
