  • The Orange Foundation - CEO, Michael Gregory
    Feb 25 2025

The Orange Foundation are doing amazing things for Cancer patients. Specifically funding treatments and more the the NHS either don't provide or will not fund or pay for.

It is becming more and more widely known that in addition to the traditional treatments provided by the NHS, Cancer patients need to access other services, products and treatments that can help to fight and beat their illness. For example the Orange Foundation have approved the funding of a course of Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber therapy for me. I would not have been able to access this treatment of it wasn't for the support of Michael and the Orange Foundation charity.

This interview not only talks about what they do but also the back story of how they were founded. Sadlly following the passing of Michael's wife due to cancer - who's favourite colour was orange. Hence their name.

It's all too common that people who have received cancer diagnoses, suffer issues at work. I have personally suffered and have spoken to a significant number of people who have had negative experiences with employers.

Likewise Employers also struggle to manage staff and the situation faced as a result of someone being diagnosed with Cancer.

This interview is with Barbara Wilson. She specialises in working with employers and employees to best manage their "working with cancer" situation.

Thank you so so much for this interview Barbara.
