Welcome to episode 7 Season 2 of the healthcare India Podcast today we take a trip back in history to talk about Jeevika, the ‘Physician King’ born in Rajgir in the 5th century BCE, Jeevika rose to become the physician of King Bimbisara of Magadha and had Gautam Buddha as one of his patients. We also get a small glimpse of the medical education system in those days rendered by the great Taxashila University. Learn more about his life in this episode.
