Your family background is a part of you, no matter what you believe or what your family believes. Family shame can be one of the biggest shame we face in this life, but it can end with us. In today's episode, we will discuss how there can also be blessings that come from family through inheritance, legacy, and our family stories of redemption. Today, you will hear from two of my favorite people, Velvette Williams and Amber Dozier, as we share how we grew up and came to know the Lord and the call over our lives. Just know that no matter what type of family you come from, it doesn't have to stay the same in the way you live your life. We serve a generational God, and there is always hope that things can get better.

This episode of walking through shame is called "Shame in Confusion" because as we have been reading through Genesis, we have approached chapter 11, "The Tower of Babel," which is an interesting part of scripture. So, on this episode, we discuss our testimony on how God used confession, and because we were walking close to him what the enemy intended for evil, you will get to hear how God used it for good. Melanie will share her testimony, and then I will discuss missed used quotes that are not scriptural, but we will discuss what the Bible says about these things.
