  • 'We must act to stop this avalanche of violence': Labour MP to demand changes to the laws around online porn
    Jun 15 2025

Choking scenes in online pornography should be made illegal to help counter “an avalanche of violence” towards young women and girls, a Labour MP has said.

Speaking exclusively to GB News, Jess Asato told how she will go to Parliament next week and call for a change in the law to ban the scenes, which are already outlawed in other forms of "offline" pornography.

Ms Asato, the Labour MP for Lowestoft, is also going to push for new laws which would help ensure girls aged under 18 aren’t being featured in X-rated films.

She fears the use of underage girls in porn is opening up a “gateway” to abuse - and has demanded OFCOM imposes massive fines on those firms who fail to make proper checks, and clean up their act.

  • Zia Yusuf admits he apologised to Sarah Pochin and Reform UK colleagues after calling burka ban question 'dumb'
    Jun 10 2025

Former Reform UK Chairman Zia Yusuf has admitted he "apologised" to Reform UK MP Sarah Pochin and his party colleagues, following his resignation from the party.

In his first exclusive sit down interview since returning to Reform, Yusuf claimed that he "regrets" sending the tweet, admitting he "made a mistake".

Discussing his fallout with the Reform party, Yusuf explained: "I feel very good, it's great to be back. In those 48 hours or so that passed after I sent that tweet, which I now regret, I was inundated with messages, emails, DMs from people who told me how important Reform was to them.

"It's much more than a political party, it is a movement, which frankly, many of these people are putting in their messages, represents the last hope the country has to turn itself around."

  • Starmer can learn lessons from Thatcher after devastating local election loss to Reform claims former Labour minister
    May 11 2025

Louise Haigh says Keir Starmer can learn lessons from the way Margaret Thatcher embraced conflict - as he sets about recovering from the local election defeats.

In an exclusive interview with GB News, Haigh, admitted to feeling alarm over her party's response to last week's polling performance and that action was needed to avoid an "existential crisis" at the next General Election.

Speaking to Gloria De Piero, Haigh also admitted she came to quitting politics altogether after she was axed as Transport Secretary.

But she changed her mind thanks to the support of friends, and is now determined to fight from the backbenches. She has called on the PM to "pick a side" and also urged him to introduce a wealth tax.
