Major League Baseball held day one of the 2025 MLB Draft from Atlanta on Sunday, covering the first three of twenty scheduled rounds. There were plenty of surprises, like the first non-shortstop or pitcher selection being pick #17, while shortstops dominated the 1st round with eleven preps and fourteen total having their name called early.
