He explains the difference between fruits and vegetables and the important role of fruits in the lives of humans. Dr. Hall points out that God commanded Adam to not eat from the tree of good and knowledge in the midst of the garden of Eden. He recounts the biblical story of Eve being tempted by the serpent to eat from this forbidden tree that resulted in both Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit. It is pointed out that the Bible often uses the metaphor, fruit, to describe the produce of our lives. Dr. Hall explores the fruits of the spirit as described in Scripture. The act of love and grace exhibited on the cross means that Jesus owns us and has the right to expect that we will bear fruit.
