Simon Coyle has lived multiple lifetimes in dance music. From cutting his teeth with Mad Agency in the 90s, to co-founding Wet Musik and touring the world as a DJ, he’s been at the centre of Australia’s electronic story from the very start.
After years on the decks, Simon pivoted into the business side — becoming an international touring agent and eventually co-founding Stereosonic, one of Australia’s most iconic festivals. He was there for its meteoric rise, its multi-million-dollar sale, and even its fall when the business collapsed.
But the story didn’t end there. Refusing to walk away, Simon returned with Pitch Control, his new venture that’s once again shaping the future of dance events. From illegal raves to global stages, few people have seen — and survived — as much of the industry as Simon Coyle.
