• Worship Part 1: In Spirit and In Truth
    Sep 8 2025

Everyday life as a believer is filled with countless opportunities to express praise and honor to our Heavenly Father, but if you’re like us, you’re prone to wandering affections too. How can we remain aligned with Jesus in our minds and hearts as we move through the mundane and routine parts of our lives? Is it possible to transform ordinary into sacred? To worship in spirit and in truth as scripture prescribes, we must invest ourselves in knowing the fullness of God with our hearts and minds.

Believers can easily and unknowingly reduce worship to the singing of songs on Sunday mornings, but this conversation invites us to recalibrate and intentionally offer the wholeness of our lives as a living sacrifice. This is the ideal worship.

We hope you’ll find a moment to listen in with Gretchen and Jennifer as we begin this new series on worship as we share personal experiences, encouraging verses, and - of course - everyday life.

    Aug 18 2025

Are you overwhelmed by the idea of setting new nutrition goals? Does the idea of maintaining long-term consistency seem unattainable when it comes to food? Do we count calories? Go low carb? Step on the scale every day? We all know that healthy nutrition habits are important, so why do we also struggle to set goals and make wise food choices on a daily basis? Is making it past the learning curve worth it?

If you're just getting started, the first step to making nutrition adjustments is to develop an awareness of what you're consuming. We discuss how to practically get started with food tracking and how to make incremental and sustainable adjustments as you move forward. In addition to offering practical tips, scientific data, and helpful resources, this conversation also gives an honest take on some common barriers to prioritizing nutrition, including the mental energy it requires.

This episode is equally equipping and inspiring, especially if you've known that you need to make changes but haven't known how to start. Be sure to find a moment to check out our other episodes in this four-part series on Health and Wellness!
